The Greater Sydney Commission recently welcomed a Smart Cities delegation from The Netherlands to its Parramatta offices to discuss cross-cultural collaboration and being ‘future-ready’.

The Greater Sydney Commission recently welcomed a Smart Cities delegation from The Netherlands to its Parramatta offices to discuss cross-cultural collaboration and being ‘future-ready’.

The delegation of government and business representatives heard from CEO Sarah Hill about the Commission's progress so far and its vision for Greater Sydney as a metropolis of three cities.

Director Strategic Planning, Natalie Camilleri, discussed plans for GPOP and areas of potential international collaboration.

Transport for NSW also delivered a presentation, highlighting the importance of collaboration between planning, transport and infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing Greater Sydney.

The meeting was a forum for sharing experiences in planning and growth while exploring opportunities to work together on future projects and strategies.
