The Greater Sydney Commission’s social media Live Online sessions are giving Sydneysiders a new way to engage with senior members of the Commission.
Live Online kicked off in early February with a Facebook session with CEO Sarah Hill, Executive Director of Strategic Planning Halvard Dalheim and Director of Engagement Meredith Jones. It reached more than 12,000 people.
Among other sessions held so far have been Deputy Chief and Economic Commissioner Geoff Roberts on Linkedin, Two sessions on Facebook with Chief Commissioner Lucy Turnbull and Environment Commissioner Roderick Simpson, and three sessions on the discussion website Reddit with Halvard, Roderick and Social Commissioner Heather Nesbitt.
The timing of the hour-long sessions has been varied and they have been held on different social media channels to give as many people as possible the opportunity to take part.
